Ownership

What ownership actually looks like.

Buying an electric motorcycle raises questions a petrol motorcycle never did. Where do I charge it. What if the battery dies. Who fixes it. Here are the answers, without the marketing.

If you can charge a laptop, you can charge a Commander.

Commander charges from any standard household socket. No dedicated installation, no electrician, no three-phase connection. Plug in when you park, unplug when you leave.

A full charge from empty takes two and half to four hours and consumes approximately 4.4 units of electricity, which costs roughly ₹33* at typical domestic tariffs. That is 125 km of riding for less than the price of a litre of petrol.

*Indicative, at ₹7.50 per unit.
